The food industry tries very hard to get you addicted to sugar. Sugar is like a drug to your body. This is because the body uses sugar as an energy source.
The body always uses sugar or fat as its energy sources. Sugar is a key ingredient found in many Summer and Fall rich foods like fruits. When there is an abundance of sugar intake the body naturally thinks its in one of these seasons.
What season comes right after these? You guessed it! Winter season. Our body naturally uses the sugar it finds in summer and fall as its natural energy resources and it starts saving up for when there is a sugar deficiency in nature like Winter time. That is why during Fall and Summer we start storing fat so we have enough energy resources for the winter time.
So when we use sugars or fruits all year round because we think its part of eating healthy, we are just always giving our bodies the signal that it is time to store fat. That is why its important to sometimes take a little break from sugar intake, even if this means taking a break from delcious fruits. Taking a couple week break of sugar will give the Pancreas a rest and let it recharge, nurture itself, and heal itself.
So we have to start taking a look at the foods we buy from the supermarket becasue these are loaded with sugar and the food industry tries to desguise their names in many different ways. Take a look at the image and look at all the different sugar names that exist.
